Hello and welcome!  I’m Ron Pinkerton.  My passion is night photography and light painting in the Mojave Desert, and is where I share some of my better efforts and adventures in that pursuit.  After many months, I still have a long to-do list I want to complete before I feel like this site is really ready for prime time.  That unfinished feeling keeps me tinkering with the galleries, the writing, and the organization of the site.  In between full-moon forays into the desert, that is.  Anyway, enough of the web page administrator blues.  Let’s look at some pictures.

Please look  around.  You’ll find lots of Mojave night photography, and more than a few pictures that are neither from the Mojave nor taken at night.  If you enjoy what you’ve found here, use the blog comments or an email to let me know.

Most of the night images (and many of the others) are available for purchase as 8×12, 12×18, or larger prints on luster or metallic paper.  Ping me if you’re interested in owning a print, and I’ll help with the specifics.
